Liz Holland is the Director of OT Cybersecurity at Duke Energy, where she focuses on protecting the company’s operational technology systems. These systems are critical for powering millions of homes and businesses across the Southeast. Duke Energy is one of the largest electric power holding companies in the U.S., committed to providing reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy. In her role, Liz ensures the security and resilience of the infrastructure that keeps the grid running smoothly.

Previously, Liz played a key role in building a cybersecurity program for Duke Energy’s generating fleet. She draws on her strong background in operations, engineering, and work management within the nuclear power sector. Liz holds a both a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Cybersecurity from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is passionate about continuous learning and collaboration to meet the evolving challenges of the cybersecurity landscape.
