Jonathan Coombes has over 25 years of experience in senior executive information security leadership roles. He currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for an industry leading Consumer Product Goods company with oversight responsibilities for the Cybersecurity, Risk/Compliance, and Operational Technology (OT) security groups. Prior to this role, he served in several other CISO roles across multiple industries, including the CISO role at a Fortune 25 Oil & Gas Company.  Jonathan also retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a Lt. Colonel, serving as a military pilot and Intelligence Officer and has over 20 years of experience as an Adjunct Professor.

Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science from Campbell University, a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Boston University, an Executive MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a Doctor of Science degree in Cybersecurity from Marymount University.  Professional certifications include CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISSMP, CSSLP, and PMP.
